Climate
It describes what the weather is like over a long period of time in a specific area.

Weather refers to short-term changes in the atmosphere.
Factors that affect the climate:
Latitude, Altitude, relief, currents and winds, and distance from the sea.
Weather conditions
are regional weather during a defined time period from one up to several weeks.
Extreme weather:
weather phenomena that are at the extremes of the historical distribution and are rare for a particular place and/or time, especially severe or unseasonal weather.
Hurricanes
are strong storms with swirling winds and heavy rainfall.
A cyclone
is a storm with rotating winds.
A tornado
is a smaller storm that a cyclone, but it has even more powerful winds that can reach 300 miles per hour. A tornado follows an unpredictable path.
Floods
Floods occur when water covers an area of land that is usually dry.
Blizzards
Blizzards are heavy snowstorms with strong winds and very cold temperatures.
Draught results when the amount of rainfall drops far below the average amount.
