RAte of Clearance calculation
A
A substance that is freelly filtered and is not reabsorbed or secreted by the renal tubules, then the rate at which that substance is excreted in the urine (Us x V) is equal to the filtration rate of that substance by the kidneys (GFR x Ps)
GFR x Ps = Us x V
Ps = the plasma concentration of substance s
Us = urine concentration of substance s
V= urine volume per unit time
