Degreasers
Alkaline detergents, often called degreasers, that contain a grease-dissolving agent. Often used when grease is formed like grills, backsplashes, oven doors, and range hoods.
Detergents
Cleaners designed to penetrate and soften dirt to help remove it from the surface. This is a general-purpose cleaner. Dirt from walls, ceilings, prep surfaces, most equipment utensils.
Delimers
Used on mineral deposits and other soils that alkaline cleaners cannot remove, such as scale, rust, and tarnish Often used to recover scale in dishwashing machines and stem tables
Abrasive Cleaners
Cleaners containing a scouring agent used to scrub off hard-to-remove dirt. They may scratch some surfaces. Used often on baked-on foods in pots or pans
