polluted waters

OBJECTIVES
- To protect the country’s water bodies from pollution from land-based sources
- To provide comprehensive and integrated strategy to prevent and minimize pollution through multi-sectoral and participatory approach involving all stakeholders

EUTROPHICATION
The legal authorization granted by the Department to discharge wastewater.
Wastewater Discharge Permit
The Discharge Permit shall be valid for a maximum period of
5 years
Renewal of Discharge Permits
30 days prior to expiry date
