How should fruit and vegetables be cleaned?
A
Remove and discard outer leaves, rinse under cold clean running water, before preparing or eating. Rub briskly, don’t use soap or detergent. Dry with a clean cloth or paper towel, moisture left may promote survival of organisms. Cut away bruised or damaged areas.
