Displaced oblique fracture to the spinous process at the lower C spine. Sometimes seen in the upper Thoracic.

Usually C7
But can be seen from C6 to C13.

What is the mechanism of injury of a Clay Shovler’s fracture ?
A
Hyperflexion or direct trauma to posterior aspect of the neck.
