the sector that involves in the conversion of raw materials into finished or semi finished goods, like manufacturing of furniture using wood
what are assembly plants
factory where parts are put togethor to make the finished product
what is the tertiary sector
the production of services in the economy
what are some examples of tertiary sector
commercial services like flight, delivery
financial services like accounting or banking
household services like plumbing
leisure services like spas, waiters, chaeuffers, hotels and libraries
professional sevices like medical care
transport like train or taxi
what is interdependance in these 3 sectors
businesses in these three sectors are likely to be interdependant meaning they are dependent on each other for example the tertiary sectors are reliant on medical equipment like bandages or surgical equipment which are produced by secondary sectors which are reliant on wood, metal, cotton which are produced by the primary sector
how can sector employment change
the number of people employed in each sector can change due to demand, so people will prefer to spend on services ather than goods, as there is economic growth, public sectors grow causing services to increase, advances in technology because machines can replace people in the secondary sector for manufacturing
