Q

Communication basics: include what?

a. How does the process work?

A

Message (sender) -> encode process (transmitter) -> channel/noise -> decode process (receiver) ->message minus loss (reception) -> feedback -> message again
a. Have message in head, need to decide how to communicate it. Pick a communication vehicle. The distance between you and me is the channel, you are the receiver. Your ear does lots of fancy things to hear the message and brain decodes the message. Through the channel there is noise which can reduce the message (can be audible or not – ex. you are thinking about how hot it is instead of listening). The process has to work in reverse too from feedback
