Results of the war in US

Economic boom
The war led to a 44-month period of economic growth, and the United States became a world economic power. American factories and countrysides were unharmed, and industrial production increased.
Military expansion
The U.S. mobilized over 4.7 million military personnel, and the size of the U.S. Armed Forces increased significantly. The U.S. suffered over 116,000 soldier casualties.
Social and political changes
The war led to the rise of conscription, mass propaganda, the national security state, and the FBI. It also accelerated income tax and urbanization.
Civil rights
The Great Migration of African Americans was a catalyst for the civil rights movement.
International relations
The war transformed America’s role in international relations.

Women’s Sufferage
Women’s suffrage is the right of women to vote in elections. In the United States, women’s suffrage was established through the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, which was ratified in 1920

Red Summer
The Red Summer was a period of racial violence against Black people in the United States in 1919:
Causes
The Red Summer was caused by a number of factors, including:
Migration: The Great Migration saw African Americans move from the rural South to cities in the North and Midwest.
Veterans: Black veterans returned from Europe, where they were often treated better than by white Americans at home.
Suspicion: There was suspicion that Black workers were involved with Bolsheviks and anarchists.
Fear: There was fear that Black veterans would not accept traditional political and social oppression.
Jazz and Harlem renaissance
Jazz was a fusion of African and European musical traditions, evolving from slave work songs, spirituals, blues, ragtime, and brass bands. he Harlem Renaissance was about giving a voice to the experiences of African Americans, and nothing gave expression to the African American experience better than jazz. Jazz was born out of the Black experience in America, basically fusing African and European musical traditions.
Art deco
Art Deco was a reaction to the Art Nouveau movement of the late 19th and early 20th century, which featured an organic, sinuous aesthetic that emphasised geometric shapes in clean, angular, and symmetrical forms with clearly delineated colours. This style infuses simple decorative design into functional objects.

Art Nouveau draws inspiration from natural forms and focuses on lavish and intricate designs. inspired by insects and female body’s. lots of curves and “spine” like things.
