Adverse Effects-
A
-Related to the effects of blocking beta receptors in the SNS
-CNS: Dizziness, insomnia, dreams and fatigue
-Resp: Bronchospasm and dyspnea
CV: Hypotension, bradycardia, AV block, arrhythmias
GI: N/V, anorexia
Misc: Loss of libido, decreased exercise tolerance, alterations in blood glucose levels

- Verapamil (increased risk of AE)
- Insulin (beta blockers mask s/sx of hypoglycemia)
- take BS more often and be aware of risk
