Who do we target advocacy towards?
A
We target whoever has the power to make a change, either directly or indirectly
- People in power
e. g. politicians, management of an organization or company… - People who have the power to change those in power
e. g. citizens, shareholders…

What are the goals of advocacy?
A
- Communicate individual or group needs
- Demand individual or group rights
- Educate, inform or shape public opinion, or the opinion of a certain group (e.g. those in power)
- Demand change or increased support to a specific policy or service
