Q

Profile. Steep Turns

A

Set Up: Stabilize at 200kts, hold heading and altitude
Roll into a 45 degree bank turn, upon reaching 45 degrees increase pitch 2 to 3 degrees and increase power 3%
PM: “thirty degrees to go” , “twenty degrees to go” , “ten degrees to go”
When the PM calls “ten degrees to go” , begin to roll into a 45 degree bank turn the other direction. The transition from one side to the next should be done quickly, no power change is required.
PM: “thirty degrees to go” , “twenty degrees to go” , “ten degrees to go”
Rolling out of the 45 degree bank turn, decrease the pitch and decrease the power by 3%
