what is the civil courts?
deals with variety of minor civil matters and cases.
what is the tracking system?
the tracking system involves multi track fast track and small claim and your track depends on the amount in dispute and the complexity of the case.
what is multi track?
deals with very complicated cases with a value of 25,000 or more but also gives the court the ability to deal with cases in the most suitable way according to the needs of the case.
what is fast track?
for claims with a value of 10,000 to 25,000 a circuit judge or a district judge may hear the trail.
what is a small claim ?
the judge will decide a settlement based on your claim and evidence that has been giving taking into account any rebuttals by the defendant
for claims with a value of no more than 10, 000.
who sits in the county court ?
the district judge, circuit judge and the recorders.
