A

ADR is often known as a alternative instead of going to court ways of finding the answers to disputes without going to court. there are 4 different types of ADR arbitration, mediation, conciliation , ombudsmen and negotiation

what is arbitration?

A

a way of settling a dispute without going to courts this case will be independently judged by a person named a arbitrator.

what is mediation?

A

an independent and neutral advisor works with all parties to allow them to reach a mutually acceptable agreement or solution without taking the matter to court.

what is conciliation?

A

Conciliation is an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) process whereby a third party (the conciliator) is appointed as a neutral and unbiased person to help parties involved in a dispute to achieve a settlement by steering negotiations towards an amicable conclusion.

what is an ombudsmen?

A

put into place to look into complaints about companies and organisations they are independent free and impartial so they do not take sides but it is always good to try and solve your case between each other before going to an ombudsmen.

A

a process whereby the parties and their legal advisors seek to resolve the dispute by reaching an agreement either through written correspondence or a meeting between all who are concerned or involved in the case.
