What’s the two civil courts of first instance
County court and high court
For cases where the claim is £25,000 or less the case must be started in which court

Queens bench division deals with
Large and/or complex claims for compensation. Hears contract and tort cases over £50,000
Hears judicial review
There’s three tracks they are
Small claims track
Fast track
Multi track
Small claims track hears
Contract and tort cases worth up to £10,000 and personal injury cases up to £1,000
Small claims tracks cases are heard by
A district judge in the county court
Fast track cases heard claims from
£10,000 to £25,000
Fast track cases are heard by
District judge in county court
Multi track hears cases over
£25,000 or cases involving complex points of fact in law
Multi track cases are heard by
Circuit judge in county court but can be sent to high court
