-flight attendants

Duties of pilot in command
Duties of pilot in command
-safe operation (crew, passengers, cargo)
-final authority on aircraft (control and regulation of passengers/crew)
-comply with caa rules and regulations
Section 13a
EXCEPTIONS TO section 13
Permitted breach of regulations
Permitted breach of PIC duty scenarios
-threat to life or property (on plane or directly effected by plane)
-only breach rules to the extent required
-only breach rules as a last resort
-if obeying regulations causes more danger than breaching
Requirements for 13a
-PIC must be licensed
-A/C must be registered & air worthy
-immediate notification of ATC and director (ASAP)

-unnecessary danger by either act or omission is an offence
