Pros
Transparent, Will of people is clear, Cooperation
Cons
Impractical , Can be manipulated
Vested interests/lobbyists
Groups or individuals within Australia that demand special privileges
Often lobby government into formulating policies or enacting legislations
Organized Crime
Groups of people who work together to commit serious crimes, often on large scale to make money illegally
Undermines laws, damages political institutions, weakens public trust
