Engine Faikure, Fire or Master Caution below V1
- Abort Takeoff
- Brakes - As required
- Throttles - Idle
- Speed Brakes - Extend
- Thrust Reverser - Deploy on Unaffected Engine.
Engine Failure, Fire or Master warning during takeoff with Speed above V1
- Rotate - Vr
- Landing Gear - Up
- Climb - V2 until 1500 ft AGL.
Engine Failure during coupled approach
- Power (operating engine) - INCREASE as required
- Auto pilot and yaw damper - OFF
- Airspeed - Vapp
- Rudder Trim - Trim towards operating engine as required
Flaps - Take Off / Approach
Emergency restart - Two Engines
- Ignition - Both On
- Boot Pumps - Both On
- Throttles - IDLE
- If altitude allows increase airspeed to 200 kts.
Engine Fire LH or RH Engine Fire warning light/switch illuminates
- Throttle (affected engine) - IDLE
If light remains “on” - Engine Fire Switch - Lift cover and Push
- Either illuminated bottle Armed Light - PUSH
Electrical Fire or Smoke
- Oxygen Masks - Don & Emerg
- Oxygen Microphone Switch - Mic Oxy Mask
Battery Overheat
(Battery Over Temp Warning light ON and Master Warnings)
- Amperage - Note
- Battery Switch - Emergency
- Amperage - Note decrease
Cabin Decompression
(Cabin Alt 10000ft Warning Light On)
- Oxygen Masks - Don 100%
- Oxy Microphone Switch - Mic Oxy Mask
- Emergency Descent - As Required
Emergency Descent
- AP Trim Disconnect - PUSH
- Throttles - IDLE
- Speed Brakes - EXTEND
- Airplane Pitch Attitude - Initially Target 24 deg Nose Down
Thrus Reverser inadvertent deployment during takeoff below V1
- Abort Take Off
- Brakes - AS REQUIRED
- Throttle - IDLE
- Speedbrake - EXTEND
- Thrust Reversers - BOTH DEPLOY
Thrust Reversers Inadvertently deploy during takeoff, speed above V1
- Continue Takeoff
- Emergency Stow Switch - EMERG affected engine.
- Landing Gear POS ROC - RETRACT (do not exceed 125kts until thrust reverser stows)
- At 400ft Flaps - RETRACT at V2+10 and accelerate. (Do not exceed 200kts after thrust reverser stows)
Thrust Reverser inadvertent inflight deployment
- Control wheel Autopilot - GRIP / Disengage. (aircraft will tend to pitch up and roll into the deployed reverser.
- Emergency Stow Switch - EMERG (affected engine)
- Throttle (affected engine) - CHECK IDLE
- Airspeed - Reduce to 175kts or below after thrust reverser stows, DO JOT EXCEED 200kts.
Thrust Reverser Unkock light On inflight
- Emergency Stow Switch - EMER (affected engine)
- Thrust Reverser Levers - CHECK THRUST REVERSER LEVERS AT STOWED (PUL FORWARD) position.
AUTO- PILOT MALFUNCTION
- AP Trim Disc - PUSH
Emergency Evacuation
- Throttles - BOTH OFF
- LH/RH Engine Fire Switches - BOTH PRESS
- LH/RH Fire Bottle Armed Switches - BOTH PRESS (if fire suspected)
- Battery Switch - Off
- Aircraft and Immediate area - CHECK for BEST ESCAPE ROUTE.
(If thru cabin door) - Cabin Door - Open
- Move away from aircraft
(If thru escape hatch) - Escape Hatch - REMOVE and THROW HATCH OUT of aircraft
- Move away from the aircraft
Inadvertent Stall
(Stick shaker, Buffett, and/or ROLL-OFF
- Autopilot - Disconnect
- Pitch Attitude - reduce
- Roll Attitude - LEVEL
- Throttles Maximum Thrust
Electric Elevator Runaway Trim
- Autopilot Trim DISC - PUSH
