What do the programmable feature buttons do?
They can be programmed as line buttons for making a call or ending a call. They can also be used as speed dial buttons, specialized phone features, and web-based phone services.

No. You must hit resume before you will have the option to End Call
How do you answer a call if you have a headset connected?
- Push the ANSWER SoftKey. OR
- Push the blinking line button
Note: these actions will trigger the speakerphone if there is no headset connected
What are all the ways to answer a call?
- Lift the handset
- Press the SPEAKERPHONE button
- Press the LINE button (this will activate speakerphone, unless there is a headset attached in which case the call will go to the headset)
- Press the ANSWER SoftKey (this will trigger speakerphone, unless there is a headset attached in which case the call will go to the headset)
What indicators will you see when a call is connected/ active?
- Line button will be solid GREEN
- Connected call icon shows a lifted phone receiver with soundwaves emanating from it
- Call timer in the upper right-hand corner displays how long the call has been connected
- Caller information is displayed next to the line button on the LCD display screen
What is the indication that a second call is coming in? (call waiting)
While on a call, a call waiting tone (double beep) is heard.
- The second caller’s ID information will briefly display in a pop-up window on the screen
- A line button will begin blinking ORANGE
- The handset will begin blinking
If you are currently on a call, how do you answer a second call that comes in?
What will happen to your first call when you pick up on the second call?
You must push the blinking ORANGE line but to answer the second call
The first call will automatically be placed on hold.
How do you tell just by looking at a phone whether there is more than one connected call?
In the upper right-hand corner of the LCD display it will either say “Call 2 of 2” OR “Call 1 of 2”
How do you switch between two connected calls?
- Press the more SoftKey until you see the swap SoftKey. The swap SoftKey will switch you to the other connected call on the phone while placing the current active call on hold.
- You can also press the blinking (GREEN) line button to swap calls.
How do you end a call if there is more than one connected call on your phone?
Switch to the call that you want to end by using the swap SoftKey, or by pressing the blinking line button.
Next, use the end call SoftKey to end the call.
Note: if there is more than one connected call, then pressing the line button will not end the current call, rather it will put the current call on hold and switch to the other connected call. Therefore it is necessary to use the end call SoftKey
