How is a computing system layered?
Like an onion with the Central layer being information, and the outermost layer being communications.

Information, Hardware, Programming, Operating Systems, Applications, Communications.
This layer reflects the way we represent information on a computer, using the bits (Binary digits) 1 & 0, and these bits are used to display images, numbers, text, audio, and video.

The hardware Layer
This layer deals with the software, and uses it to accomplish computations and manage date. It can e used in many languages, and a my levels.
The Programming level
This layer uses all of the inner layers to use smaller programs to actually solve real world problems, whether it be winning a video game, or creating a power point.
Applications
The outer most layer uses computing systems to interact with other computing systems is a network.
Communications layer

A mental model that removes complex details.
