1) deoxygenated blood enters the heart through the vena cava. oxygenated blood enters the heart through the pulmonary vein.
2) RV pumps DO blood to lungs through pulmonary artery, and left ventricle pumps O blood to rest of body through aorta
what is the only vein to carry oxygenated blood?
pulmonary vein

what are the valves for within the heart?
stops blood flowing backwards by allowing it to only flow in one direction
