Close throttle

Apply braking as required
If power available, exit runway
Engine malfunction sufficient runway remaining
Lower nose
Close throttle
Flap - select as required
Land
Apply braking as required
Engine malfunction insufficient runway remaining
Lower the nose
Close throttle
Select field 30* of nose
Set best glide speed attitude
MAYDAY call
Conduct checks - CFM
Shutdown checks - BUMFISH
Glide Approach Circuit
On downwind turn earlier
Aim-point 1/3 along runway
Runway to remain visible 2/3 up wing strut
Once assured of reaching field. Extend flap as required.
Flapless approach circuit
Normal circuit pattern
5 KIAS added to each leg
Base power=1200 rpm
Aimpoint - 300m markers
A higher nose attitude
Communication failure
Check avionics

Use light signals
Maintain lookout

In flight: give way to other aircraft and continue circling

In flight: return for landing
On ground: authorised to taxi if pilot satisfied that no collision risk exists
Red flashes light signal
In flight - aerodrome unsafe, do not land
On ground - taxi clear of landing area in use
White flashes
In flight - no significance
On ground - return to starting point on aerodrome

7600 - communications failure
