a pan

when the camera moves left to right or vice versa. this is used to follow a person as they walk across a room or to swing from one part of the frame to another

same movement as pan however its increased speed often blurs the image

when the camera moves it’s lens up or down , may be used to slowly look up towards a building emphasising how tall it is

follows the subject from behind , alongside or in front
