e.g. Young mothers groups in parishes running at school pick up times where the mothers can receive childcare help and have the opportunity to socialise

For older children they offer a safe and friendly environment where homework can be done, with staff on hand for quiet support

Counselling courses or training in parenting skills.
For families undergoing stressful times, in emergency situations they provide short-term accommodation to prevent homeless families being split up while their future is being sorted out

Marriage guidance
The Church insures that a couple understands the importance of marriage and insure that they know each other well enough to commit themselves to one another and if a marriage is going through difficulty they will offer counselling
