remit or remain stable for years but may progess and spread

Manefestations of CRPS
A
autonomic changes (sweating/vasomotor abnormal) motor changes (weakness dystonia) trophic changes - skin/bone atrophy/hair loss/jt contracture

Symptoms of CRPS?
A
pain (burning/itching) motor weakness tremors spasms dystonia distress

signs of CRPS
A
allodynia hyperalgesia oedema contractures vaso changes (temperature,colour) trophic (dry skin,hair loss).

Complications
A
permanent neurological changes
skin bone changes
decrease ROM of limbs

Prognosis
A
complete spontaneous relief with 80 % of type 1
