A

For a patient who has had a kidney transplant recently. Cyclosporine is for PO or IV anti rejection med for new kidneys.

It increases patient risk for infection. Discontinuing is risk for infection.

Adverse effect is hirsutism. Excessive body hair on parts of the body where hair is normally absent.
