Q

What were CB’s Key Contributions to Rambert?

A

Develop a company that demonstrated Rambert’s heritage and ongoing creativity.
Company was built back up to comprise of 25 dancers - their mix of classical and contemporary backgrounds enabled them o perform a wider range of works.
Graham technique training was reinstated.
New choreographers were invited to create works e.g. Wayne McGregor and Merce Cunningham.
Developing the talent from within the company, was continually recognised and dancers were regularly offered the opportunity to create their own short works.
50 new works were created.
