it is the Jewish holy day. it is at sunset Friday to sunset Saturday. during this day they attend the synagogue. they rest (like God did on the 7th day).
what are the rules of shabbat
they have to walk to the synagogue. rest and relax with your family. no cooking meals for shabbat are prepared the day before. no working on the shabbat. no studying. no TV. emergency services may work.

he was born in 570ce he was born in Makkah. his father died A few weeks earlier and his mother died when he was six. his uncle raised him. at young he was a Shepherd. later he became a a camel driver then a trader.

he worked for a rich widow called Khadijah. (they later married) Khadijah and her family were Christian. he had 4 girls and 2 boys. he received the Qur’an from God. he became and prophet who spoke for God.

the sacred scripture of Islam. that Muhammad memorised because he was illiterate. it contains 114 chapters.

this is one of the five pillars. it means: each day in the holy month of Ramadan do not eat food between sunrise and sunset.

this is one of the five pillars. Muslim gives 2.5% to the poor in order to help them.

this is one of the five pillars. this is the pilgrimage to Makkah. Muslims must do this once in their life times. once completed they would be free of sin.

it is a Muslims place of worship. Muslims face when praying toward the Ka’ba in Mecca and a mosque is specifically designed to face that direction.

Before Muslims perform the Salat prayer, they must prepare with a ritual washing called wudu.

its a special journey to special holy places. the hajj is a pilgrimage that Muslims make. they follow the first pilgrimage made by a prophet Abraham 400 years ago then later made by Mohamed
