Catholic, protestant and Orthodox
What does monotheisticism?
The idea that there is one supreme being
Define catholism
It’s based in Rome and led by the Pope
Define orthodox chrisitanity
It split from the Catholic church in 1054 and is mainly practised in Eastern Europe in places such as Russia and Greece.
Define Protestantism
Split from the Catholic church in the 16th century and subsequently split into denomination. They all agree the Bible not the Pope is the only authority
What is a denomination?
It is a distinct protestant group

What is Gods fundamental role in the universe?
God is the creator and sustainer of all that exists.
How does God operate in the universe?
God works through history and inspires people to do Gods will.
What is the nature of the God?
God is spirit (John 4:24) - neither male nor female but has qualities of both
God is considered holy - what does that mean?
That God is set apart for a special purpose and worthy of worship.

He is his Son and the true representation of God on earth?

What is omnipotence?
Means almighty and having unlimited power and authority
What is benevolence?
It means all loving and all good. God hafve the power to do good. God shows his love by creating humans and caring for them.
What does it mean for a just God?
God is the perfect judge of human behaviour and will make up for all the wrong in the world.
How did God show his love?
By sending his only son to Earth.
What is the problem of benevolence?
Why does God allow people to suffer and/or hurt each other.
