What examples of God’s omnipotence are in the Bible?
The genesis creation story, the flood and the ten plagues are just a few of them.
What is meant by the omnipotence of God?
Omnipotent means “all powerful”. It is believed that God has the power to do anything. But only what is good as good is all good as well.
What is meant by God being omnibenevolent?
Omnibenevolent means all loving, it is believed that God loves everyone. God’s love in the new testament is referred to as Agape, referring to a self-giving and self-sacrificial love.
What is meant by God being omniscient?
God is all-knowing, he knows everything that is happening, has happened and will happen.
What is meant by God being “just”
Just basically means fair. God treats everyone equally and is not discriminative.
How does God being “just” relate to the day of judgement?
Christians believe that those who do good shall be rewarded in heaven and those who have done bad will be punished in heaven

God is a loving creator and sustainer of the universe (the father), God as the saviour who became incarnate who lived, died and then rose again (the son) and God is the source of strength Christians find at work in their hearts (the holy spirit).
Can humans understand God?
According to Christians, God can never be known, he is beyond the understanding of humans so it is impossible to make true sense of it.
What does Christianity teach about the afterlife?
Christianity teaches that death is not the end, it separates life on earth from life with God. Death should not be feared. It is often believed that when you die, your soul descends to heaven to be judged.
What do Christians believe about resurrection?
Christians believe that because Jesus rose from the dead, there must be an afterlife.
What do Christians believe about judgement?
They believe that there will be a judgement day where Jesus will judge people about how they have lived their lives. If they have lived a good life, they go to heaven, if they have lived a bad life, they go to hell.
What is meant by the belief of incarnation?
It is believed that God took on a human form as Jesus
What do Christians believe about Jesus’s death?
That Jesus died to pay the debt caused by human sin.
