people question why a loving Gd would let people suffer

-dead are raised when Jesus returns to judge
-Catholic/some Ortodox churches believe we will be resurected in our bodies but in a glorified state where suffering does not exist

-afterlife is dependent on belief in God as is granted as a gift
-on day of judgement living and dead are judged and souls go to an unknown place
