Trinity

• Serves as a central institution for Christian’s, providing a space for communal worship, spiritual growth, sacraments like baptism and communion, and acts of service.
• The church is often considered the body of Christ with Jesus as its head.
Salvation
• “Salvation” is about being saved from sin and its consequences, leading to eternal life with God.
• Salvation addresses the separation between humanity and God caused by sin.
Kingdom of God
• “Kingdom of God” refers to Gods rule both now and in the future.
• Both a present reality and a future hope, emphasizing Gods sovereignty and the fulfillment of His plan for humanity.
Atonement
• “Atonement” refers to the process of reconciling humanity with God through Jesus Christs sacrificed death on the cross.
Sin
• “Sin” refers to any action, thought, or behavior that contradicts Gods will or moral standards.
• Sin creates separation between individuals and God, as well as harming relationships with others.
Resurrection
• “Resurrection” refers to the belief that Jesus Christ physically rose from the dead three days after his crucifixion and burial, as described in Christian teachings.
Redemption
• “Redemption” is the act of saving individuals from sin and its consequences through the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Repentance
• “Repentance” is the heartfelt acknowledgment and remorse for one’s sins, coupled with a commitment to forsake sin and live according to Christian values.
• This process is essential for obtaining forgiveness and salvation as taught by Jesus Christ.
Reconciliation
• “Reconciliation” refers to the restoration of a harmonious relationship between God and humanity, which is believed to have been disrupted by sin.
Grace
• “Grace” refers to Gods free and undeserved love given to humans. It is a crucial concept emphasizing that salvation cannot be achieved through good deeds but it is a gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ.
Logos
• “Logos” refers to the concept of the World as a divine, foundational element, featured in the Gospel of John, where God is identified as the incarnation of the word of god.
Agape
• “Agape” represents the highest form of love, characterized by selflessness, unconditional devotion, and sacrificial actions.
• Agape love emphasizes genuine care for others wellbeing, even at personal cost.
Sacrament
• “Sacrament” refers to a sacred ritual or ceremony recognized as a visible symbol of in word spiritual grace.
• These rituals, believed to have been conducted by Jesus Christ, save as rituals through which believers receive God’s grace.
• The sacraments vary in number and from among Christian denominations.
