Liturgical Worship

A

Meaning:

Importance:
1. When the formal liturgy of the Eucharist occurs, it’s a way of Christians living out Jesus’ instructions, and showing their dedication to God.

2. Jesus told his disciples to pray in private as God would see them and they wouldn’t be tempted to show off, therefore they’d be following Jesus’ teachings.

Q

Believer’s Baptism

A

Meaning: When the person being baptised is already a Christian. They can make a conscious procession of their faith.

Importance:
1. It is more powerful to be baptised as an adult because the ceremony is arguably about dedicating yourself to God, which an infant cannot do.
2. Baptism washes away the sin the Christian has performed in their life, which wouldn’t make sense for an infant, as they don’t have any sin.

Quote:
“Baptism is faith in action.” - Bible

2. Gives the child the gift of the Holy Spirit, allowing them to grow up with God’s love and protection.
