Lourdes is located in south west France and is a holy site dedicated to Virgin Mary. In 1858, a girl had 16 visions of Mary, who healed her. Thousands of Christians visit to bathe in the water.

Iona is located in the west coast of Scotland. It is a remote 6th century church devoted to Virgin Mary with a connection to nature.

The week leading up to Easter is called the Holy Week and during this week Christians remember the days leading up to Jesus’ crucifixion on Good Friday. Some practices done On Easter includes decorating eggs and filling churches with flowers. Both of these practices represents new life.
