- strengthen faith with god
what are the two types of pilgrimage?
- lourdes: bernadette saw virgin mary and was told to dig into the ground and when she did water appeared, this water is believed to heal so pilgrims go to bathe in the water in order to pray for healing
- iona: very quiet and peaceful and a place for pilgrims to pray and reflect on themselves
give two ways in which Christmas is celebrated
- gifts and cards are given
- Christian’s give to charity
what are street pastors and what do they do?
- volunteers who go out at night in order to help those who are vulnerable and are in need of assistance
- they listen to people’s problems and aim to help
- they provide water, food and shelter

- spreading the Christian gospel to people
