what does monotheism mean?
belief in one true God
what does omnipotent mean?
the all powerful and all mighty nature of God
what does omnibenevolent mean?
the state of being all- loving and infinintely good a characteristic often attributed to God
what does trinity mean?
the three persons of God
God the father, son and Holy Spirit
what does incarnation mean?
the way in which God becomes “flesh” or human in the form of Jesus
what does charismatic christian mean?
christians who emphasise the presence and the work of the Holy Spirit, spiritual gifts and miracles
what does speaking in tongue mean?
most often found in charismatic and pentecostal churches where the beleif is that someone is filled with the Holy Spirit during worship and is able to talk in an unknown language
what does atonement mean?
the belief that Jesus’s death on the cross healed the rift between humans and God
what does resurrection mean?
the belief that Jesus rose from the dead on easter sundae conquering death
