- without jesus, there is no salvation
- god has become incarnate
- brings people together –> reminder of what is important in life
- marks the start of the christian religion

- on good friday, jesus died for our sins –> atonement
- without easter, there is no salvation
- allows you to focus on god and be thankful
- gives you hope and redemption about an afterlife

-free will defence ; moral evil is caused by humans not god, god has lovingly given them free will
-we need it to become good ; part of gods plan –> suffering produces perseverance.

how does one work for reconciliation
- ‘love thy neighbour’ help others that are less fortunate
- through charity work —> medical aid and providing food

- to go to church on good friday, the day of jesus’s crucifixtion and show your devotion and gratitude
- by doing good actions as jesus’s death brought about salvation, they should do this to go to heaven
