Describe the Scenario technique of future thinking
Scenario is the description of a future situation, a depiction of events and/or image of the future. The techique is a planning method rooted in military, intends to create alterniative suggestions of positive and negative developments of the future. Reality is in between certain scenarios.
What are the aims of the scenario technique
get security while planning, better reactions to unexpected events, impentation of systematic thinking (chances, risks, opportunities), support strategic planning (vision, long-term-thinking)
Pros & Cons of scenario technique
PRO: Reduction of complexity, easy to communicate, “brain-compatitive” format
CONTRO: Timeconsuming generation, subjective, degree of uncertainty

MO: Make a Map and choose a Target (targets, challenges, milestones)
TUE: Sketch competing solutions (widening perspective, fueling creativity)
WED: Decide on the best (focus on solution, prototype plan)
THU: Build realistic prototype (make solution suitable, build prototype)
FRI: test with target customers
