Q

Now explain the formation of the Andes mountains?

A

The Nazca plate is moving towards the South American plate. Where they meet or collide, the Nazca plate sinks under the South American plate. The crust is folded to form the Andes mountains on the South America crust.Earthquakes and Volcanoes are also formed along this plate boundary ?
