What is religious education?
Religious education encourage us to search for the meaning behind our own experience in life it helps us better understand the world we live in
What is the world view?
World view is the way someone views the world each person has their own world view
Tell me the three big questions in life
Why am I here? How should I behave? Is there an afterlife?
What does being spiritual mean?
Being spiritual is an attempt to see the world beyond the surface. It’s looking for something bigger deeper and more meaningful in life
What is a religious world view?
A religious world view is a world view that follows the influences of their religion their informed and influenced by the sacred and founder of their religion
What’s the definition of sacred text?
The foundational text of their belief, e.g. the Bible
Atheism
The view that God does not exist
Humanism
Humans are our only source of knowledge
Faith
The unquestioning belief in something that does not need to be proven
Secularism
The belief that religion and society should be completely separate
Agnosticism
They just don’t know about religion
Beliefs
Are the ideas and opinions that people hold to be true?
