Which enzyme deficiency will lead to excess uracil?
A
ornithine transcarboxymilase. Hyperammonemia and rise in glutamine levels can be seen in other urea cycle disorders, but the simultaneous rise of orotic acid or uracil nucleotide in urine occurs only in OTC deficiency.
