Chordates overall description
Chordates is the phyla of the animal kingdom that is most familiar to us, all have a spinal cord and most have a backbone. They all have bilateral symmetry. Classes are the next level of classification. There are 8 classes of chordates.

Have moist skin, lay jelly coated eggs in water, lives on land and water.
Birds

Have feathers, hollow bones, lay hard shelled eggs and are warm blooded
Mammals

Have hair, produce milk, give birth to live offspring and are warm blooded
Reptiles
Chordates class
Have dry scales, Lynn leathery shelled eggs and are cold blooded
Fish
Chordates Class
Have wet scales, lay eggs in water and live in water.
