OR
Statin intolerance (liver/renal disease)
Additional management on Statins administration
Get baseline test of lipids, A1C, CK, LFTs.
Check lipids yearly and + A1C only if DM.
when to check CK & LFTs again?
if muscle pain. CK, U/A
if hepatitis symptoms LFTs
Statin induced myositys Or hepatitis management
stop the statin. Once it goes away put it back at lower dose

LDL<70 + no disease
