• Shout for help/call 999
• Ask can you cough? (effective)
• Pick up over lap + 5 back slaps between shoulder blades
• Assess between each
• 5 abdominal thrusts (crouch if child)
• Reassure child,pt,document in notes
• Urgent medical follow up for rib fracture at hospital + fill in incident report
