What measures has China gone to to prevent its greenhouse gas emissions?
A
China has built 2 colossal renewable energy power plants. The Three Gorges Dam was one of the power plants. It’s the largest source of hydroelectric power in the world (22,500 megawatts). It’s entirely renewable and doesn’t release any greenhouse gases.
Another of their projects was the solar power plant in the Gobi Desert which produces 5.2 gigawatts (recorded in 2014)
