China’s population center and farming lands.

The Yellow Sea and the Yangzi.
What kind of temperature does China have?
Warm-hot, heavy rains in summer, typhoons can strike the South, towards the North it becomes drier and colder.
Which mineral resources is China rich in?
coal, led, tin, and tungsten.
What did the Chinese people invent?
fireworks, magnetic compass, gunpowder, paper, printing, and silk.
Were the Chinese people ruled by dynasties? What does dynasty mean?
Yes they were. Dynasty means that a series of rulers from the same family line.
What were the rulers called?
EMPERORS.
Who was the most important dynasty? What was his significance?
Qin was the most important dynasty. He was important because he was the one that ordered the building of much of the Great Wall of China. It was to keep invaders out.
Were the Chinese people unhappy with the imperial rule?
YES.

The Nationalists and the Communists.

The Communists.
What is the One Child Policy?
A mother can only have one child in China.
What is Daoism?
Stresses living simply and in harmony with nature.
