Police officers have the power to safeguard children in an emergency. Officer BELIEVES the child must be kept in a place of safety (hospital) to prevent them suffering SIGNIFICANT harm. Can be done for 72 hours.

An emergency measure used by the police to ensure the immediate safety of a child. It grants the police the authority to remove a child from their current environment if there is a belief that the child is at immediate risk of significant harm.
