Precautions
A
Think Raynaud; avoid smoking
Protect from trauma and secondary infection
Do not rub or massage injured tissues
Wear warm gloves and socks: do not apply heat or ice

Physical treatment
A
Elevate affected part
Warm gradually to room temperature

Drug treatment
A
Apply glyceryl trinitrate vasodilator
- Spray
- or ointment
- or patch
Use plastic gloves and wash hands for ointment
Other treatment:
- Rum at night (oral)
- Calcium channel blocker, e.g. nifedipine CR 30 mg/d
