- Trans-anethole - caution with oestrogen dependent cancers
- Estragole / Methyl chavicole - potential carcinogen
- Methyl eugenol - potential carcinogen
- Myristicin - pos hallucinogenic (avoid in pregnancy)
- Safrole - carcinogen

- Camphor - neurotoxin, avoid with pregnancy and epilepsy
