Combustion, corrosion, and reaction with acid
What is combustion?
Combustion is the ability to burn, NOT melt, or react with oxygen to produce fire.

What is corrosion?
When a substance reacts with oxygen to form an oxide, or basically a rust
What is “reaction with acid”?
Some substances have a characteristic reaction with acid
Baking soda forms carbon dioxide bubbles
What is a chemical change?
A chemical change is a change in the substance(s) and production of more substances

What is a chemical property?
A description of the behaviour that occurs when one substance interacts with another to become a new substance
